ESPN F1 is a channel dedicated to Formula One racing. It is available in the United States on cable and satellite TV providers. ESPN F1 offers live coverage of all Formula One races, as well as highlights, interviews, and studio analysis.

NBC Sports

NBCSN is an American pay television channel that is owned by the NBC Sports Group division of NBCUniversal. It originally launched on July 1, 1995, as the Outdoor Life Network (OLN), which was dedicated to programming primarily involving fishing, hunting, outdoor adventure programs, and outdoor sporting events. By February 2006, OLN became the first television network in the United States to be broadcast in high-definition. On January 2, 2007, OLN acquired the U.S. broadcast rights to home games of the Stanley Cup through a revenue sharing agreement with the National Hockey League which lasted until June 2018 (with coverage shifting to sister cable channel NBC as well as CNBC and USA Network during playoff rounds). On October 1, 2012, Comcast announced that it would relaunch OLN as part of a major rebranding of its portfolios of sports networks under a new name: NBC Sports Network; the rebranding took effect on January 2, 2013.

In August 2013, DirecTV Sports Networks reached a long-term agreement with Comcast to carry NBCSN on DirecTV and U-verse platforms beginning on August 1 of that year. The channel was subsequently included within DirecTV’s “Choice” package (later “Choice Xtra”), and later renamed “NBC Sports Network”. On July 15, 2017 – as part of an impending merger between parent companies Comcast and General Electric – it was announced that Comcast would acquire all assets of GE’s entertainment business unit NBCUniversal for $30 billion; as part of the deal – pending regulatory approval from various agencies – Comcast would also assume ownership of co-owned sports networks such as Golf Channel and Olympic Channel fromGE subsidiary NBC Sports Group taking full ownership effective January 1st 2019 (pending approval).

As a result of the merger and acquisition by Comcast, on October 3 in a press release sent out by Golf Channel – it was announced that effective January 1st 2019 (pending approval), Golf Channel would be relocated from Orlando Florida to Stamford Connecticut and integrated with other assets owned by NBCUniversal; 10 Golf Channel employees were laid off as part of this move on October 12th 2018 who were based out at Golf Channel’s Orlando headquarters while several other golf properties owned by Comcast will remain based out in Orlando including PGA Tour HQ.

In December 2017 it was announced that 50 hours formula one races will be broadcasted live on ESPN chanel as well from next year . ESPN had last televised F1 races in 1997 . The races not shown live will have recap coverage later in day or later in week . The live races shown will air either on ESPN2 or ABC . The deal run for four years starting with Australian Grand Prix next year
